If you haven't see my DIY tutorial for Rainbow highlights here's a link for you:
And my recent Korean Makeup Haul!!
It's been so long since I bought a Korean makeup brand. The only Korean cosmetic shop that I always check out is Etude House. I'm not really into Korean makeups. But I want to try some of them, so I decided to snag on other Korean makeup brands like Tony Moly, and Missha. I also fell in love with their cute packaging!
And I'm talking about this!! Yes, just how could I possibly resist this cute cat packaging?!?! It's Tony Moly Cats Wink Powder #02
I fell in love at first sight the moment I saw this cutie! I had to buy it right away. And I'm happy I did because I'm liking it so far. The powder feels really smooth on the skin, and the sponge applicator is so soft! But I haven't tested the longevity of it yet as I haven't wear it for a whole day. Hmm I hope it's long lasting.
Missha Wonder Woman Edition Magic Cushion #23
Yaaaas!! I've been eyeing on this new korean makeup trend, BB cushions! Finally got myself one. And my thoughts for this products? Hmm it was okay for me. I'm not impressed. It's very natural. The coverage is light. It only covers the redness on my face, but not the veins on my cheeks.
Missha Soft Blending Stick Blusher (Milk Pink)
I was intrigued with this product because I haven't seen anything like it before. A stick blusher with a brush applicator. Plus, the packaging is cute! So I decided to buy it and give it a try.
I really love the color but meeeeh~ I was disappointed with the stick blush. The moment I tried it on my cheeks I was like, 'Oh my! The color is so pretty this could be a new favorite for me.' but when I used the brush to blend the blush on my cheeks. The pigment is gone! And it also took my foundation away! I don't understand... I buffed the brush carefully, and boom everything is gone~ I was so disappointed. What a waste... But I might give it a try again perhaps? I'll try to find out how to make this thing work because I really like the color!
I was sold the moment I saw this Etude House heart sponges! I don't need them, but I have to buy them.
Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser. Not a Korean product but I'm including this anyway.
It's been so long since I got myself a primer. I haven't use a face primer for the longest time because I don't think I need it that much. Longevity of face makeup products isn't much a problem for me (must be because I use good foundations), and my skin isn't that oily. So yea, I don't reach out that much for face primers. But I decided to get myself one since this primer claims to erase pores. And that would be the only minor problem I have when I apply foundations. My pores on my nose is quite big. And I think this product does a decent job on covering the pores on my nose. No big difference, but you could see that it works somehow. It also feels smooth on the skin! So yea, it was okay for me. It's cheap anyway, so I guess it does a good job considering its price point.
And got myself new set of makeup brushes!! Yeyyyyy~
The Real Techniques brushes are so good! It's so soft and high quality. That's pretty much all I can say about it. Hahaha!
I bought the ELF contouring brush because of my DIY Rainbow Highlight. It's the kind of brush that I always see people use on applying the Rainbow highlight. But I haven't use it yet as its real purpose which is for contouring. I'll try it soon and I hope it would be good because I heard lots of good feedbacks on ELF makeup brushes.
And lastly, the Etude House Eyebrow Screw. I have to get myself a new spooley brush because my old one was broken. Nothing so special about it, except that it's color pink. Haha~
Not a makeup product. But I just want to share this with you guys! It's my new Sailor Moon compact case and earphones!! It's so prettyyyy!!!
And that's pretty much it~ Ciaoooo~
